Hello everyone,

I am currently getting used to the fact that I will be soon be able to visit friends indoors as I was vacinated on Friday. By the way, the one reaction I had to the vaccine shot was a dry mouth for an hour. Weird but could have been worse.
Hi guys! I’m Elyse, I’m Australian and moved to Kilkenny nearly 5 years ago now. I absolutely love it here! I have found though since COVID that quite a few friends have moved back home and that has left me feeling lonely in Kilkenny, hence why I’m here! I love a good book, a good binge, a good pint and ofcourse a good coffee. If you’re around Kilkenny and want to meet up let me know ๐
Hi everyone I’m Ann Marie but everyone calls me bid ๐. I’m a SAHM to 2 beautiful, lively little men,so life is go go go. My partner and I have recently separated so I’ve a lot more time to myself and been finding it difficult to be alone all the time especially when kids are in bed ๐. I’m a keen reader,Netflix watcher, love to watch sports and enjoy laughing a lot ๐. That’s me in a nutshell not very exciting lol but still me ๐
Is there many people from cork actually on this site that are active? Please pm me โบ๏ธ
Hi Jessica, it’s a pity you are in Cork. I’m in Killarney. My partner died 6 months ago and he was literally my whole life so it gets very lonely now. We didn’t have kids. If you ever around give me a shout ๐ I’m 40.
Hi everyone ! My name is Jessica and I’m a single mammy to a beautiful boy. I was living on the UK the last few years, came home just before the pandemic ! Its just me and my boy and it gets very lonely. Although I’m grateful for everything I have, I really feel like I have a lot more living to do, and I just want to find fun people to have in my life and my sons life. Im very spiritual, love the outdoors, love to cook and look after people. Someone message me please and restore my faith in humanity ๐ p.s im in cork
Hey! My name is Carmen and I’m moving to Ireland soon. I’m super excited to start this new chapter of my life. I’m looking for people to have drinks, go to cultural activities, do yoga, travel and many more things. Let’s connect!
Hi, I’m Lauren. (26) and living in Cavan. Two of my best friends have gone to live on the other side of the world so I’ve been feeling quite lost lately. I am happy in my own company usually but recently it’s been getting harder. So I thought why not join this for the craic. I am outgoing, love being outdoors hiking or walking the dog. I’m a very “everything happens for a reason person” and I don’t take life too seriously. Love trying new things and meeting new people. My favourite TV shows are It’s always sunny and the office, so that’s really my humour. Looking forward to talking to like minded people.

Hey! I’m not planning on moving to Korea but I would love to travel there, I know a little bit of the language and I do mean a tiny bit haha
The language I am currently focusing on is Traditional Chinese and wanted to go to Taiwan last year but, same as your plans, Corona rudely cancelled them.
Hi everybody,
I need help with something important to me…
I am moving to Ireland and wish to talk to people with children in school. Even better if you know about autistic children in school and how they take care of that there. My children are 7 and 10.
Me. I watched the trailer yesterday and I cannot wait.
Hey guys
I’m new to this platform. I was just interested to see if anyone else on here is interested in Korea.
I first got an interested in Korea in 2016. I was a first yar in college and had recently discovered kdrama the previous year and kpop that year. I immediately became intrigued by the language and i decided from then on i wanted to move to south Korea. That is when i discovered the Epik program which allows you to work as an English language teacher in Korea. All that’s required is a bachelors degree in any discipline and a tefl certificate. You apply then submit the relevant documents and if yore lucky you get an interview and pass then you get to go to Korea. I have literally been dreaming about this for 5 years now. Sadly I couldn.t apply this year because of the corona virus.
The reason why im so interested in going to Korea is because I just think the language is fantastic. I’ve never heard anything like it before. I love learning new languages and I added korean onto my list. One day I just thought to myself what is the best way to learn a language? Of course the answer was going to the country where the language is spoken. That way you can practice with natives and also get to partake in the culture of that country and learn about the history as well.
I haven’t given up on going yet and I plan to go next year by the grace of God. Wish me luck guys.
If anyone else is interested to hear more or just interested in Korea in general please feel free to comment on this topic. I would love to discuss with other people.

Hi, I’m Shelagh and I’ve just joined this site today. I’m 42 and living in Kildare, (near Dublin) ,having recently moved back to Ireland after several years abroad. I’m married with two children. I like nature, reading, walking, yoga, travelling, art, good food… lots of things really! Moving back to Ireland during a pandemic coupled with working a shift pattern has made it harder to make new friends . Would love to meet some new female friends for a walk/chat/coffee.

That’s great, I say you’re looking forward to the gym opening and a good feeling to be back in as normal

Hi Tinad. I have been going to the gym for five years I used to go once a week and after that I did kick boxing. I would go two times a week for exercise rounds and one of the days for the kick boxing. I enjoyed the gym I don’t miss it that much it would be good to go back to it. At home what I do for exercise is go for walks am not into exercising at home
How is everyone coping with the gyms being closes?
I used to train 4 times a week, love the gym experience, it’s so much more than just going there to lift weights or cardio, it’s a vibe, it’s the energy, it’s what it makes you feel inside…
I’ve tried at home workouts and did well for the first lockdown but I haven’t been able to motivate myself…it’s just not the same…
I hear gyms are opening on the 7th June…
Can’t come quick enough for me…
Anyone else feel the same???

I am 26 and a irish traveller. I swear I’m not like what you see on TV ? any ways i don’t have any friends. I am married and stay at home mom. I’m more likely to delete this as I suffer from anxiety but here’s to trying. I understand the majority of ireland hate travellers but I am not bad just lonely.. also my username is my daughters

Oh my god!! Friends is definitely number one!! Its so good that theres constant reruns! Loved like like of saved by the bell, sabrina the teenage witch, and then the likes of charmed, love and marriage, Frasier, king of queens (not sure if that was 90s tho). Im a 90s baby so love all the oldies?
We got our first day back in Nov 2019 – so hadn’t really had any nice hiking time with him, so were delighted to travel upwards in Tipperary and have a nice wander around a hiking route we’d never been to before. Great to have some nice new memories. What would you share @louise-ward?

Hi everyone!
I see some replies in which I have see a lot of things in common. I guess that watching movies, for example, is something that we made this last year.
In my case, I love cooking, my favourite hobby! I even started a cooking channel in Youtube (but In Spanish). I tried the same that you Maria, making natural wax candles, but the result was not best, and the cost was higger than actually buy candles at the supermarket, so bad deal… hahaha
Hi folks,

Hi everyone,
My name is Andy. I am 29 and currently living in Louth (although I have just bought a house in Co. Meath and will move there next year once it has been built).
I am both a secondary school teacher (Philosophy, Religion and English) and a college lecturer (Sociology and Philosophy).
I am lucky to have a wonderful fiancรฉe, who is also a teacher but am looking to meet some new friends (male or female) who have an interest in film, history, travel and music.
I plan to attend a lot of concerts in Ireland and festivals around Europe once this lockdown has ended, so it would be ideal to meet some people who are also open to jumping on a plane to go and listen to some rock music!
