I love photography! I can’t always take my camera as I developed rheumatoid arthritis last year, it’s all over but my hands and wrists and shoulders can get really bad so I can’t use them much. Here are some of my favourites from the last 12 months. I particularly love animal photography, landscapes, and street photography. One of my favourite buildings! The natural history museum in London. I went to an event called dinosnores, you get to sleep in the museum!! There are activities all night and a 3 course meal and breakfast, it was one of the best experiences ever!

Hi everyone,
This website is lovely! I’m Natalia, 34 years old. I’m from Argentina and have been in Dublin for 3 years. I am an engineer and environmentalist and work for an energy efficiency company here. I like everything to do with sustainability, animals, nature. I love books, movies, music, travelling, good veggie food, bakery. I’m in love with Ireland and it’s people, and would be good to find new friends when restrictions are not so strict 🙂

@burkie Could you please add it again so that people could meet for a socially distant walk or coffee? Or even add a book club online chat gathering? At least people could form connections on here before the restrictions lift & have gatherings to look forward to.

@hernameislalex Hi Alex and welcome! We have a Gatherings feature that we turned off due to Covid-19 but hopefully in the coming weeks we can add that again so you can post up coffee chats, shopping trips, or book club chats for people to attend.
How was Japan? My sister and nephew have had a few trips there and they were all asking for photos with my nephew 😀

Hi, I am originally from Cork but now living in Tipperary. I only moved here last summer & Ihaven’t really got to know anyone here yet. This Covid lockdown isn’t helping. I fill my time with movies, podcasts & cooking. I hope to make some connections through this lovely platform. I have two dogs to keep me company.

Definitely Charmed for me !! Loved it, looked forward to watching it each week with my Mum!! I got the box set and am rewatching it again for the 30th time!!
Second would be Sabrina the teenage witch. Followed closely by Buffy and Angel 🙂

Well actually I told myself to read more am I did up until the lock down happened.. I have all my books on my kindle as I just moved and don’t have my books here and I was forced to stop when my kindle died cus I left the charger at my boyfriends home house.. silly me

Hi Catriona from Carlow ? I agree, we are a great ppl here in Eire but so hard to find solid friendships in adulthood. With everything going on with Covid, it’s obviously harder. I hope ppl that are feeling isolated or lonely find out about this platform. Good topic!

I’m working from home, trying to learn and study some new things and I’m cycling almost every day. Also many hours of Netflix.

Eating too much seems to be the common theme coming out of this lockdown ?. I have been walking the little legs off my dog and starting to grow a bit of veg in pots. Thank goodness for the beautiful weather!

Hi, I’m Caitriona, from Carlow. I really hope that people make use of this wonderful platform to meet new people. While Ireland may be known as the land of a thousand welcomes, when it comes to making real strong friendships in adulthood, Ireland can be very cliquey. If you move town or country it can be extremely difficult to find lasting friendships here. This site deserves lots of publicity and I really hope people make use of it. The very best of luck ?☘️

Hi everyone, as this isolation is hitting us we are probably finding any possible way to keep ourselves busy. How’s everyone doing? I so far ideated a new lines of candles to sell, baked a lot of delicious goodies and apparently started to watch Dr. House XD

I like music, baking, cooking, animals, yoga, homemade, meeting friends for a coffee or drink. Travelled a lot which in unfortunately put on hold.

I prefer Angel over Buffy.
Other series I like are MacGyver (technically that’s mid 80s, but still..), Ally McBeal, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, ER..

I really enjoyed Friday nights watching Buffy and Angel back then. And many late nights up watching Frasier and Seinfield. My guilty pleasure was watching The Nanny 🙂

I think Peaky Blinders is good, not something I would have usually watched but was oddly addictive to watch. YOU, How to Get away with Murder and Virgin River are a nice selection too.

@louanne Yes, “Don’t F*ck With Cats” is really good. It raised a hard question for us viewer to answer.
I couldn’t keep up with long series so I opt for short mini-series instead, mostly documentary like DFWC, Cooked, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Planet Earth, The Crown, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Midnight Diner..
Currently I’m watching Night On Earth.. Next on list is Ragnarok

I grew up on Marvel comics and used to travel to forbidden planet to spend my first jobs wages on numerous comics but I never ventured into anime, but my nephew loves them and took me to a couple of stores in Madrid and that was a real eye-opener to the world of anime. Just wondering if there’s a film/series you’d recommend to check out?
