Batman: The Animated Series and Freeks & Geeks. I only discovered Gargoyles in recent years. They really don’t make ’em like these anymore!
I prefer Angel over Buffy.
Other series I like are MacGyver (technically that’s mid 80s, but still..), Ally McBeal, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, ER..
I need to watch Twin Peaks
I really enjoyed Friday nights watching Buffy and Angel back then. And many late nights up watching Frasier and Seinfield. My guilty pleasure was watching The Nanny 🙂
My all time favorite tv show was ER , I would still watch it now. Also love friends , full house and many more 🙂
What was your favourite TV Series of the 90`s
We all need a bit of summer now 🙂

I think Peaky Blinders is good, not something I would have usually watched but was oddly addictive to watch. YOU, How to Get away with Murder and Virgin River are a nice selection too.
@louanne Yes, “Don’t F*ck With Cats” is really good. It raised a hard question for us viewer to answer.
I couldn’t keep up with long series so I opt for short mini-series instead, mostly documentary like DFWC, Cooked, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Planet Earth, The Crown, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Midnight Diner..
Currently I’m watching Night On Earth.. Next on list is Ragnarok
I recently watching the movie Your Name and Weathering With You.. Such tear jerking scenes, I didn’t expect that from any anime..
I don’t watch many anime, just few such as Attack On Titans, Durarara, or Detective Conan
I grew up on Marvel comics and used to travel to forbidden planet to spend my first jobs wages on numerous comics but I never ventured into anime, but my nephew loves them and took me to a couple of stores in Madrid and that was a real eye-opener to the world of anime. Just wondering if there’s a film/series you’d recommend to check out?
So who’s watching what? So far I’m not seeing any 10/10s this season but dorohedoro and darwins game look like they’ll get good and I’m a sucker for basketball anime so Ahiru ni Sora is fun 🙂
Just a place to talk about anime, new and ongoing or classic. Maybe not SAO though haha
Happy February! ? I have a goal to read 50 books in 2020. I’m not doing as well as I’d hoped (still on Book 3) but I’m getting there!
@jon-davies i love that picture
@julianaayu Happy February 🙂
About 15 months ago I gave up drink and stuck with that and feeling all the better for it, but I’ve never tried to make a change in January. Although I’ve been aiming to read more offline lately, some books I’ve ordered have just arrived so hope to get stuck into one tomorrow and hopefully continue with that.
So I was in London for most of yesterday to see the Brexit celebrations @ 11pm; I took this photo of the London Eye whilst I was walking back to the train station…

For those who have been following your resolution throughout the month (Dry January, more gym, no-meat etc..), congratulation!!
I personally did not have any specific thing-to-do, but my housemate has been going “no-meat” all January. What did you do?

Starting watching Don’t f*ck with cats, a very hard watch but really good documentary!
Really enjoyed Season 2 of Sex Education – steady little season, flew through it all yesterday!
I have to agree with Liam on Prego Pizza in Clonmel, you can’t go wrong with that place. I have to say one of my favourite places for a good chipper is Miss Ellie’s. A must try if you’re passing through Clonmel, you won’t be disappointed 🙂
Hello you beautiful people,
I’m Juliana, originally from Malaysia, have been living in Ireland for the last 16 years. I love travelling and outdoor activities, always willing to try new things to do but then I get bored pretty easily and move on to another to-do-thing.
..
…
….
Sorry. What was I saying?
Oh yeah. I enjoy meeting new people, hanging out with delicious food and good story. I’m travelling to Central Asia in March for 2 weeks and always on a look out for ideas on places to visit.
I also have weird sense of humor, it threw people off at the start, but I find inappropriate jokes could sometimes ease the mood.
Sometimes.
@burkie The Swiss cottage is one of Ireland’s hidden gems , one of my favourite places to visit
Hi everyone! So my name is Jon (33), currently live in the UK at the moment, however I’m looking to move to Galway as I’m in the process of writing a bid/proposal that will hopefully allow me to take over the operations of the air service that operates between the Aran Islands and the mainland. I originally wanted to join the military, however I wasn’t able to do so at the time due to my eyesight so I turned my attention to commercial aviation and have previously worked at Gatwick and Heathrow airports and also for a private jet firm (believe me, it’s not as glamorous as it sounds…!). Taken quite a bit of time off lately due to mental health issues, however I’m really excited about the prospects for the future and have high hopes of starting a new life in Ireland very soon.
Hi my name is Marie (39) I am from Tipperary and now live in Dublin the last 20 yrs. My fav hobbies are baking, crochet, hiking, cycling, spin and yoga. I also love eating out, afternoon teas and coffee/chat. Looking forward to meeting new people.

They are just getting ready to start filming the 2nd season so a little while till we get a follow up! I binge watched season 1 myself in a day haha. Not normally into the sort of medieval fantasy genre but glad I gave this a shot as it turned out to be brilliant!
Hello everyone! Firstly – thanks Louanne & Liam for making this site, it’s excellent!
I’m Ivan from Croatia and I’m living and working in Ireland (Galway) since 2015.
Along with my full time job, I’m doing online course (L6) IT Sligo.
My fav hobbies: music (electronic music production), photography (amateur photography), cycling (I like to cycle daily, minimum 20 km) and sugar at the end – cars 😉
Looking forward to meet new people 🙂

Howzit! I’m Nadine, originally from South Africa and have been here in Ireland for 9 months now. Living in beautiful bohemian Galway and loving this city! I’m a full time working singly mummy also currently training for an Ultra marathon in Donegal called the 7 sisters that I can’t wait to experience! I like this idea very much as still haven’t really made many friends here in Ireland and this seems like a cool way to do it!

The Witcher and Russian Doll are both brilliant!

Photo of the Swiss Cottage in Cahir back taken park in September while on a visit with my in-laws. It was a really warm day for that time of the year, and it’s always nice to see the interior of this old house.
So as it’s the weekend we’d love to know what’s your favourite takeaway to treat yourself to after a long week and shoutout the takeaway also, or do you prefer to cook a fakeaway at home instead 🙂
For me it would have to be a Prego Pizza in Clonmel (would recommend for any to drop in if you’re ever in the area), getting a 16″ ham, mushroom, sweetcorn and onion for just €9.50, or the odd pepperoni pizza from time to time!
Or Chinese wise I’d go to Mary 19 for Salt & Chilli Shredded Beef.

I’m Janet, but better known as Tigger. I love my family, travel and adventure. I home school my youngest children and we take advantage of special offers on flights and ferry crossings. Recently we went to Italy, Romania and Bulgaria and loved every second of it, travel is such a great education for the children and the gain so much from these trips. I love meeting new people and have many friends from all walks in life, it keeps life interesting. I love lots of different crafts and find creating things keeps my mind busy. I love the out doors and I try to spend a few hours outdoors everyday. I love camping both in Ireland and mainland Europe. I wish you ever success with this website, it is a great idea and will hopefully bring lots of people together
Liam – I studied Multimedia & Communications in Clonmel, graduated and found it hard to get my foot in the door so began a job in Abbott and 4 years later decided it was time to get out and start my own business. I’ve been working for myself for the past 9 years. I’ve been lucky to have worked with numerous clients from large corporate companies to small local businesses. And in my spare time I love to work on side projects and always strive to learn new things, currently trying to read more and aiming to learn Polish & get through a few books in 2020.
