I want to relocate myself to Ireland
The poor and vulnerable people in our communities really need help and support from us all, They need a place to call their home, food, medical care, clothing, education etc

I’m planning on moving to Co. Clare in a couple of months. I’ve heard that it’s hard to find a place to rent with cats. Is this true?
Grew up in a farm environment but I like dogs and cats more.
Have a shelter at my family home but don't have one in Ireland.
Don't know how to go about these things as meeting people directly and talking works less in the small country that I've lived in. Been almost 2 years since I've relocated to this country but I do enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them while sharing hobbies.
Feel free to drop a line and we can talk more.
Hi, I'm Dominik, 32, from Austria and I am on vacation in Dublin between 11.3 and 13.3. I am travelling alone to explore the city and to meet great people. Feel free to contact me if you have any recommendations about the city or if you would like to show me some special places or just to have a nice conversation with a drink (coffee/beer)! ^^

Hello,
first introduction on BFF for 2023!!
I'm Nicolas, from south France, by the Mediterranean Sea. I'm 43, have 3 children, 2 dogs and a cat 🙂
I'm a musician, a chemist working in Ecology and felt in love with Ireland and the Irish People a long time ago. I'm lucky enough to have friends living in Galway and visit them quite often.
I practice yoga, hiking, camping, cooking, playing guitar, bass guitar, trumpet, flutes…
I'm an highly sensitive person with a strong need for creation (writing, music, drawing…) and connections.
Even if I live far from Ireland, I'll be happy to meet people here, chat and maybe one day, meet you in person!
Have a beautiful day 🙂

Love them all. got 5 cats a dog and two turtles living in a flat with us. Me and my daughter picked all of them (except for turtles) from a streets. mostly sick and abandoned. Well now we got a zoo here ))) its fun though.
Sean, you came close to starting a spider farm. I accept spiders only in the form of Halloween decorations because they disgust me and I feel that there is something atavistic about this feeling. I am also fascinated by the world of animals. Interestingly, animals display behaviors that the general public calls typically human. For example, elephants bring flowers to the graves of their deceased relatives.
I generally like animals but my favorites are cats, raccoons, red pandas and foxes.
I love, nature in general, and by extension all animals.
I have dogs, but have also had a cat, and terrapins, and over lockdown, even found a false widow in my bathroom and looked after her for a while (until she gave birth to about 50 baby spiders, and I thought it best to move them all outside). I called her Shelob.

Hi, I am into crime documentaries and I enjoyed watching: Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer; The Confession Killer; Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel; Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills’ @louanne Don’t f*ck with cats was also good.
@burkie I have seen Dexter: New Blood, but I was not happy how it ended… It only reminded me about the season finale of the GOT and my frustration ;( I love original Dexter though.

Hey guys
I’m new to this platform. I was just interested to see if anyone else on here is interested in Korea.
I first got an interested in Korea in 2016. I was a first yar in college and had recently discovered kdrama the previous year and kpop that year. I immediately became intrigued by the language and i decided from then on i wanted to move to south Korea. That is when i discovered the Epik program which allows you to work as an English language teacher in Korea. All that’s required is a bachelors degree in any discipline and a tefl certificate. You apply then submit the relevant documents and if yore lucky you get an interview and pass then you get to go to Korea. I have literally been dreaming about this for 5 years now. Sadly I couldn.t apply this year because of the corona virus.
The reason why im so interested in going to Korea is because I just think the language is fantastic. I’ve never heard anything like it before. I love learning new languages and I added korean onto my list. One day I just thought to myself what is the best way to learn a language? Of course the answer was going to the country where the language is spoken. That way you can practice with natives and also get to partake in the culture of that country and learn about the history as well.
I haven’t given up on going yet and I plan to go next year by the grace of God. Wish me luck guys.
If anyone else is interested to hear more or just interested in Korea in general please feel free to comment on this topic. I would love to discuss with other people.

Hi Catriona from Carlow ? I agree, we are a great ppl here in Eire but so hard to find solid friendships in adulthood. With everything going on with Covid, it’s obviously harder. I hope ppl that are feeling isolated or lonely find out about this platform. Good topic!
@louanne Yes, “Don’t F*ck With Cats” is really good. It raised a hard question for us viewer to answer.
I couldn’t keep up with long series so I opt for short mini-series instead, mostly documentary like DFWC, Cooked, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Planet Earth, The Crown, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Midnight Diner..
Currently I’m watching Night On Earth.. Next on list is Ragnarok
So, I’ve just spent the last week in Ireland; visited Galway Cathedral on Friday afternoon and took this photo, which I was quite pleased with…

Really enjoyed Season 2 of Sex Education – steady little season, flew through it all yesterday!
I’m Janet, but better known as Tigger. I love my family, travel and adventure. I home school my youngest children and we take advantage of special offers on flights and ferry crossings. Recently we went to Italy, Romania and Bulgaria and loved every second of it, travel is such a great education for the children and the gain so much from these trips. I love meeting new people and have many friends from all walks in life, it keeps life interesting. I love lots of different crafts and find creating things keeps my mind busy. I love the out doors and I try to spend a few hours outdoors everyday. I love camping both in Ireland and mainland Europe. I wish you ever success with this website, it is a great idea and will hopefully bring lots of people together
Liam – I studied Multimedia & Communications in Clonmel, graduated and found it hard to get my foot in the door so began a job in Abbott and 4 years later decided it was time to get out and start my own business. I’ve been working for myself for the past 9 years. I’ve been lucky to have worked with numerous clients from large corporate companies to small local businesses. And in my spare time I love to work on side projects and always strive to learn new things, currently trying to read more and aiming to learn Polish & get through a few books in 2020.
Really enjoyed The end of the F**king world for a short tv series. I started Mindhunter a long time ago – I really need to find time to catch up on that again though!
